Maria Antonieta Valadez

Maria Antonieta Valadez, 89, of Brownsville, Texas, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, entered eternal rest, surrounded by her loving family, on August 17, 2025. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jovita Alvarado (+), husband, Jesus Valadez (+), and son Jaime Valadez (+)brothers, Ramon Alonso (+) and Pablo Alonso(+). Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Paula Aguilar (Eduardo+), Efrain Alonso (Juanita), Margarita Carrera (Javier+), children, Maria V. Gonzales (Hector), Miguel Ángel Valadez (Ana), Imelda Valadez, Rosalinda Williams (Eric), grandchildren, Veronica Guzman (Gaspar), Mayra A. Padilla (Marco), José Pablo Sánchez II, Sebastian Sánchez, Miguel Ángel Valadez, Daniel Valadez, Veronica Williams, as well as great grandchildren, Jaime Guzman, Gaspar Guzman, Athena Guzman, Romina Sanchez, Renata Sanchez, Penelope Sanchez, Logan Sanchez, all of which will forever cherish her memory and carry forward her legacy.

Maria was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas on June 3, 1936. She dedicated her life to her family. She encouraged and supported all her children to get an education and was proud of all of them. She led by example by running a successful business selling AVON and Stanley products, earning various prestigious awards throughout her tenure. She was a fierce and loyal patron of our Lord and prayed the rosary every night for all her loved ones. Her love was deeply felt by those that knew and surrounded her. Her hobbies consisted of playing Loteria, knitting, and doing crossword puzzles. She will live on in the hearts of all that loved her. The pallbearers will be Jose Pablo Sanchez II, Sebastian Sanchez, Marco A. Padilla, Gaspar Guzman, Jaime Guzman, Jesus A. Valadez Jr. and honorary pallbearer's Hector Gonzales and Miguel Valadez. María Antonieta Valadez, de 89 años, originaria de Brownsville, Texas, una esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela devota, entró en el descanso eterno rodeada del amor de su familia el 17 de agosto de 2025.

Le preceden en muerte su madre, Jovita Alvarado (+), su esposo, Jesús Valadez (+), su hijo Jaime Valadez (+), y sus hermanos, Ramón Alonso (+) y Pablo Alonso (+).

Quedan para atesorar su memoria sus hermanos: Paula Aguilar (Eduardo+), Efraín Alonso (Juanita), Margarita Carrera (Javier+); sus hijos: María V. Gonzales (Héctor), Miguel Ángel Valadez (Ana), Imelda Valadez, Rosalinda Williams (Eric); sus nietos: Verónica Guzmán (Gaspar), Mayra A. Padilla (Marco), José Pablo Sánchez II, Sebastián Sánchez, Miguel Ángel Valadez, Daniel Valadez, Verónica Williams; así como sus bisnietos: Jaime Guzmán, Gaspar Guzmán, Athena Guzmán, Romina Sánchez, Renata Sánchez, Penélope Sánchez y Logan Sánchez, todos quienes conservarán por siempre su recuerdo y continuarán con su legado.

María nació en Tampico, Tamaulipas, el 3 de junio de 1936. Dedicó su vida a su familia. Siempre motivó y apoyó a sus hijos para que obtuvieran una educación y se sentía orgullosa de todos ellos. Predicaba con el ejemplo, al dirigir exitosamente un negocio vendiendo productos AVON y Stanley, por lo cual recibió numerosos premios prestigiosos a lo largo de su carrera. Fue una ferviente y leal devota de nuestro Señor y rezaba el rosario todas las noches por sus seres queridos. Su amor se sentía profundamente por todos quienes la conocieron y la rodeaban.

Entre sus pasatiempos favoritos estaban jugar Lotería, tejer y resolver crucigramas. Vivirá para siempre en los corazones de quienes la amaron.

Los portadores del féretro serán: José Pablo Sánchez II, Sebastián Sánchez, Marco A. Padilla, Gaspar Guzmán, Jaime Guzmán, Jesús A. Valadez Jr.; y como portadores honorarios: Héctor Gonzales y Miguel Valadez.
