Maribel assisted me greatly years ago as a hearing officer with BISD numerous years ago.  She always had a smile on her face, and did above and beyond what was expected of her and always was kind and compassionate towards students and parents she interacted with.  A true example of a professional, ethical and loyal person who left this world a better place and example to all of us.

My most sincere condolences and prayers go out to the Garza family.  I've known Maribel for many years.  She enjoyed when I made her laugh with my stories and jokes. She will be missed.  God bless all of you and be strong for each other. Embrace the memories, the laughter as I know she would want you to.

As we celebrate the life of Maribel I can you see her flying like a beautiful butterfly to the hands of her Savior.  God called home another great servant.  She was an amazing, wonderful, caring  person. Joe, Krystal, Kayla and Kimberly, I can't help but smile when I think about the legacy she is leaving behind.  She taught her children well.  Think about all the people that she touched and that were blessed by the life she lived. What I remember most about her was her wisdom and warm-heartedness.  She was patient and never heard her speak ill about others.  May the Good Lord bless and keep you and give you peace. Having worked with Maribel I can tell you that she wholeheartedly loved you all and was very proud of her family. I am blessed to have know her; I will miss my friend and co-worker and will always remember her with great respect. She was already close to God and I have no doubt that she now resides in His Kingdom. Celebrating the life of a kindhearted and wonderful woman and mourning her passing with you because she was an amazing person.  Not only was she an amazing lady but she blessed so many people with her faith and kindness.  I myself feel so blessed and privileged to have known her. Praying that you will find the comfort in Christ in all her memories.  I will forever remember her as I have so many wonderful memories (although lately we were hardly in touch) but I always remember working together with the little ones at the church we both attended doing God's service.
