Mary Ellen was a devoted Catholic who could not live without watching her favorite channel, EWTN. She loved to travel and she loved her plants, a hardworking lady who cheerfully mowed her lawn and tended to her garden until illness put a halt to her active lifestyle at 94 years old. She was always generously donating money to various organizations. She looked forward to Thanksgiving each year when all her sons and daughters would get together and the house was filled with laughter. Her delicious plum cake was the talk of her family. Mary Ellen lived a long and wonderful life and you could say lived life to its fullest. She was a classy lady enjoying her last Mothers Day with mariachis, a glass of champagne and her adored son Rick right by her side. Her last outing in May was to the Older Americans Celebration luncheon which brought a smile to her face. Mary Ellen was a sweetheart of a wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and aunt who will deeply missed.
She will always be remembered as a strong, courageous lady who loved the Lord and loved praying the rosary. She was a true inspiration to all who knew her. In these difficult days ahead, our comfort is knowing we now have our very own special angel to care for us from above.
