

Micaela was a wonderful mother and loving wife. She cared for and always went the extra mile to make a loved one feel special and content. Thank you for everything you have done, we will miss you, but you will never be forgotten.
Mrs. Ramirez is preceded in death by her parents, Demetrio Velasquez and Francisca Flores; her loving husband Pedro Ramirez; her brother Herminio Velasquez; great-granddaughter, Hailey Tabarez; two step-brothers, Juan and Esteban Velasquez; and one step-sister, Guadalupe Velasquez.
Micaela V. Ramirez is survived by her brothers, Agapito Velasquez, Luis Velasquez, Ubaldo Velasquez and Jose Velasquez; and her sister Marta Solis; her children: 2 sons, Pedro (Sylvia) Ramirez Jr. and Ruben (Luisa) Ramirez;3 daughters, Herminia (Juan) Valdez, Oralia ( Rene) Tabarez and Irene (Julio +) Zuñiga; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 10am to 9pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, with a Holy Rosary at 7pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 10 am on, Wednesday, May 17, 2013 at Good Shepard Catholic Church 2645 Tulipan in Brownsville, Texas followed by a Committal Service to Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rene Tabarez Jr., Jesus Tabarez, David Tabarez, Luis Velasquez, Julio Zuñiga, Luis Zuñiga, Jaime Velasquez, Daniel Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez III and Alfredo Velasquez.
