

Born and raised in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, she was dedicated to her church, Templo Bethel, CLADIC in East Chicago, IN and Templo Gethsemaní, CLADIC in Brownsville, Texas. She was the best mom, grandma and great grandma to everyone of us. She always had a kind word or smile for everyone that came in contact with her. By the grace of God, now she rests in peace.
Ofelia is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Morales, Sr.; stepson, Ricardo Morales and daughter-in-law, Toni Marie Morales.
She is survived by her children, Guadalupe (Elizabeth) Morales, Lydia Morales, Hilaria (Roberto) Olvera, Lazaro (Toni Marie+) Morales, Arturo (Sonia) Morales, Jaime Morales and Guillermo (Rosa) Morales; stepchildren, Ricardo+ (Isabel) Morales, Pedro (Catalina) Morales; 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A chapel service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
