Paula D. Castillo

Paula D. Castillo, 85, was born on January 25, 1931and entered into eternal rest peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2016 in Brownsville, Texas at home surrounded by her family. She was an active servant of the Methodist Church and was known by many for her cooking.

Paulita is preceded in death by her Husband: Ramon Z. Castillo, Mother: Guadalupe Bocanegra Duran, and Father: Jose Angel Duran.

She is survived by her Sons: Ramon Castillo Jr.(Alifonsa), Ramiro Castillo(Rosario+); Daughters: Lupita Johnson(Anthony)from California, Pauline C. Osejo, Frances Castillo, Rachel Castillo(Adriana Gonzalez); Sisters: Agustina Hernandez, Adelaida Tabares(California); Brothers: Bernardo Duran(California), Francisco Duran(California); 10 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista from 1 pm to 9 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at El Buen Pastor Methodist Church at 1 pm followed by burial service at Buena Vista Burial Park at 2 pm.

Pallbearers for Paulita are: Herman Castillo, Heriberto Castillo, Ramiro Castillo Jr., Mark A. Duran, Michael Johnson, and Joe Ortiz.
