Paula enjoyed bingo and to go dancing. She loved tending to her plants, her favorite was her rose bushes. She also enjoyed knitting scarfs and hats for her family to wear. Her biggest enjoyment was to go and visit her children and grandchildren in California. She will be deeply missed by her father, siblings, children and all her family.
Paula is preceded in death by her husband Juan Dimas Jr., mother Antonia R. Garcia, step mother Hilaria G. Garcia, step sister Julia Vasquez, and step brother Canuto Arratia.
Paula is survived by her father Maximiano Garcia Sr., two sisters Margarita Garcia and Guadalupe (Raul) Hernandez from Brownsville, TX., one brother Maximiano (Rosa) Garcia Jr. from Corpus Christi, TX., two daughters Graciela Dimas (Jack) Lara and Alicia Dimas, two sons Pedro Dimas and Roberto Dimas, grandchildren Angelita (Cipriano), Luis Jr. (Elizabeth), Timothy M. (Vicky), Isaiah P. John, Nick (Brianna), Mariposa (Brandon), Robert (Tiffany), Evangelina (Joseph), and Antonio, great grandchildren Angeleena, Johnathan, Jared, Audrey, Lily, Marcus, Mira Rose, Ellie, Juliann, Angelina, Malaki, Corina, Callie, Nina-Marie, all from Gilroy, California. She is also survived by her domestic partner Bele Perez, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Serving as Pallbearers: Pedro Dimas, Max Garcia III, Jerry Hernandez, Agustin Hernandez, Marisa Hernandez, and Klorissa Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn. Chapel Service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 9 am at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn followed by a Burial at 10 am at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, TX.
