Paulette Grace Lopez of Brownsville, Texas entered eternal rest on January 12, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 28, 1928, in London, England to John William George de Trafford Price and Madeline Roche.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and phenomenal grandmother/great grandmother whose kindness and creativity touched the lives of all who knew her. Paulette had a deep love for reading and could be found enjoying a good book or working on crossword puzzles. She loved any activity that reflected her curious mind and appreciation for learning. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, finding joy in creating things by hand and sharing her talents with others.
One of Paulette’s most cherished traditions was hand painting cascaroes each year for her grandchildren. This heartfelt tradition brought laughter, joy, and lasting memories. It was a beautiful expression of her love and devotion to her family. Her gentle spirit, creativity, and love will live on through the memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
Paulette is survived by her children; Toni (Chris) Wiley, Nigel Lopez, Laura (Will) Maricle, Kevin Lopez, and Wendy (Stormy) Sparks, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Thomas Lopez, sons Colin Andrew Lopez and David Stephen Lopez, her grandchildren Phillip Trafford Lopez, Joseph Thomas Lopez, her parents, and siblings.
At this time there are no services scheduled. The family will hold services at a later date.
