February 24, 1941 - October 14, 2025
Our beloved Mother/Grandmother, Pauline G. Cisneros, passed away peacefully on October 14,2025 surrounded by the family she so deeply loved and devoted her life to.
Pauline was the heart and rock of our family — a woman of extraordinary strength, unwavering faith, and endless compassion. She carried the weight of generations with grace, always putting others before herself and reminding us what true love and resilience looks like.
Her hands were rarely still — always watering her plants, cooking meals for loved ones, or caring for her home. She found joy in life’s simplest moments: a good mystery movie, a plot twisting novela, a tasty new recipe, and family gathered around her table. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcome, loved, and safe.
She taught us the value of hard work, kindness, and perseverance, not through her words but through the way she lived each day. Her love and strength helped create that joy of life in all her children. And she cared for every grandchild and great-grandchild as if they were her own children. Her wisdom guided us, her laughter lifted us, and her strength carried us through our hardest times. She was a fighter until the very end.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort knowing her spirit will live on in every meal shared, every act of love, and every story told. We were blessed beyond measure to call her ours.
Pauline is preceded in death by her father Juan E. Garcia, mother Maria R. Rodriguez, husband Antonio Cisneros Jr, and daughter Barbara Lee Trevino.
And she was survived by her daughters Lydia Yvonne Banda, Maria Enriqueta Hinojosa, and Sylvia Yvette Hinojosa; her grandchildren Julio Santiago Perez, Christopher John Perez, Stephanie April Marie Perez, Ruben Arnold Mares, Samantha Lee Hinojosa, and Jesse James Trevino; her great-grandchildren Christian Perez, Jazmin Perez, Annabelle Mares, Zoe Perez, Hank Mares, Daniyyel Perez, Gianna Perez, Liam Perez, Elyanna Perez. All of whom will carry her legacy forward with love and gratitude.
Rest peacefully, Mom/Grandma. You were our guiding light, our foundation, and our forever home. Until we meet again, we will carry your light in our hearts.
Special thanks goes out to the Valley Regional Medical Center staff and all the doctors involved in her care.
