Pedro Jimenez

Pedro was a loving husband and father. He was a man of faith and courage, who believed in hard work and justice. For his family, the world is a little bit darker with more sadness. However, he taught us well and provided us with the knowledge and courage to face the challenges ahead. Dad is now in the glory of paradise where he joins his mother, daughter, granddaughters and other family.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Jimenez; his sons Pedro Jimenez and Abraham Jimenez; his daughters Nelda Navarrete, Nora Gomez, Bella Kirby, Lucy Linville, Nora Jimenez and Flor Gomez; his grandchildren Perla Diaz, Ruth Serna, Ruby Navarrete, Savana Arispe, Flor De Leon, Alyssa De Leon, Victor Masso Jr., Kayla Zavala, Emilio Gomez, Andres Gomez, Joey Kirby, Zachary Taylor, Courtney Dakota Linville and Pedro Sebastian Jimenez.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Veronica Gavia Jimenez †; his mother Matiana Martinez † and his father Sebastian Jimenez †; his granddaughters Michelle Serna †, Victoria Jimenez †, and his siblings nine brothers & sisters †. He also survived by countless great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

A visitation for Pedro will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Peace. A chapel service will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Chapel of Peace. Followed by a burial at 3:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX 78521. Serving as pallbearers are Pedro "Pete" Jimenez Jr., Abraham "Abe" Jimenez, Victor De Leon, Dominic Diaz, Victor Masso Jr., Emilio Gomez, Andres Gomez and Julio Gavia.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 MCDavitt Blvd., Brownsville, TX., 956-541-5400, Dignity Memorial Provider.
