He was a resident of Brownsville, Texas. Ramon was predeceased by his parents, Mauro and Concepcion Martinez, and his siblings, Alma Haddock and Rolando Martinez. He is survived by his son, Ramon Martinez Jr., and his daughter, Yesenia Lopez. His grandchildren, Kira Ro Martinez, Jaden Calus Martinez, Alexis Rae Lopez, and Mikaela Elyse Lopez, also survive him. He leaves behind his siblings, Sandra Elizondo, Mario Martinez, and Norma Juarez, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, TX 78526, on January 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
