Yesterday , Monday 17, 2022,  under the sunny skies granted by our Lord, Our Altamirano descendants gathered for our father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather, Raul to celebrate his life.We listened to our pastor, who pointed out the qualities of a human being, that believed in the sacred word.The mariachis played his favorite songs and we received the kind words from each other and friends.
We were exercising what he instilled in us.Our love for each other, togetherness as a family and kindness. Our papá, Abuelo, güelito,  .Welo and friend will forever be remembered by his large family of Altamiranos. We could  get together and spend the rest of our lives, talking and telling the story of the many pictures accumulated of him with family. Papá, you won’t be with us physically, but your memories are with each of us through your words forever.
Lastly, on behalf of our family, I would like to thank all of our friends that gathered with us during this time.
We will also  like to thank the personnel at Rose Lawn Gardens that helped us during this time of need. and decisions.
May God bless us all.

Yesterday, Monday , January 17, 2022, was a very joyful day for all of us your surviving Altamirano descendants.Most of your grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, your children and friends were present in your honor. We listened to our Pastor remember you and your qualities as a human person,  for almost ninety five years in this world. We held on to the values of family togetherness and kindness that you and our mother instill in us.Sharing  the pictures of this large family that will continue honoring and executing these valuesWe will miss you, but I know that for the rest of my life, I can pull out a picture of you with someone from our family and talk about your love your calmness and your wisdom about God’s Word .That, is what we all experienced.
Lastly,will like to acknowledge the people at RoseLawn that helped us on our most difficult moments. Thank you for your wonderful thoughts that you shared about our father.May God continue to send his blessing. Daughter, Lourdes Altamirano-Garcia and our ❤️Altamirano family.

My deepest condolences to family and friends.  Andy, Lisa, Sam and I will greatly miss their grandpa and remember his friendship, kindness, love and prayers.  You will live forever in our hearts, mi suegro querido.  May he rest in heavenly peace.

Had a wonderful journey in our life’s will forever be missed but never forgotten.

I am so grateful for the memories we have. He was so loving and kind. We will always miss and Love you Grandpa Raul.

I really like this picture because it shows how stylish my grandfather was. This was around 1972 and Iris and I are with our  grandfather; and we looked just as stylish. Sweet memories.

I was too young to remember this outing, but I was told Welito took us to the circus. I have always loved this picture but love it more as an adult. I know Welito was totally annoyed by the clown. I’m glad I have this picture. 

This is one of my favorite pictures of my Welito and my dog Ruby. Ruby joined Welito and my Dad on many shrimping trips.

This is my grandpa’s shrimping boat, where he was the captain. Many fond memories of this boat. 

Abuelito Raúl you will be missed.  I have so many fond memories of Sunday meals with family, seafood feast and boat trips.  You will be missed.  Love Robert, Blanca, Jovanni and Josue.

My dad loved his father and followed in his footsteps by being a man of the sea for many years. My grandfather set the example of working hard for the family. I admired this about my grandfather and father. I am saddened for the loss but rejoice in knowing the he is with the lord and with my father now. Rest in eternal peace Welito.

His favorite song was “La Escarcha” and Kiko & The Dukes recorded it for him at Radio XEAM back in 1963…A true man of God, always studying scripture with a Bible within reach. May God Grant Him Eternal Life and the perpetual light always shine upon him, Amen 🙏🏽
