She is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto Lopez and Rafaela Casares Lopez; spouse, Jose Angel Ruvalcaba; son, Miguel Angel Ruvalcaba.
Refugia is survived by her daughters, Rafaela Martinez and Carmen Ruvalcaba; sons, Juan Jose Ruvalcaba, Israel Ruvalcaba and Jose Adrian Ruvalcaba.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in Chapel B of Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church (555 W. Francis St.) followed by committal service at Buena Vista Burial Park.
