Devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He graduated as a Public Accountant in Matamoros, Tamps. at the age of 20. He later self taught mechanics in diesel which became his long life career. He opened his business, 802 diesel shop in Brownsville, Texas. He retired at the age of 65. His favorite hobby was fishing and loved spending time with his family. He was humble, smart, and witty. He was loved and respected by so many.
Rodolfo is survived by his wife, Maria Del Rosario Garcia; his son Jose Rodolfo Garcia (Cristina); his daughters Dina Maribel Lugo (Eloy), Sonia Esmeralda Aguilar (Luis) and Cristina Garcia-Gonzalez (Noe); his grandchildren Eloy Lugo Jr. (Valeria), Brenda Lee Lugo, Stephanie Lynn Velez (Brian), Luis Alejandro Aguilar, Ianellie Ysanni Aguilar, Eric Ignacio Ibarra and Erin Izeth Ibarra, his great grandchildren Desiree Michelle Ramos, Emma Victoria Lugo and Brilynn Iris Velez.
Rodolfo was preceded in death by his father Alberto Garcia † and his mother Sofia Garcia †; his sister Maria Antonia Garcia †; his nieces Beatriz Garcia † and Leticia Garcia †.
He is also survived by 5 brothers and sisters and numerous nephews and nieces.
A visitation for Rodolfo will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 3PM to 9PM with a prayer service at 7PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 at 2PM in Chapel of Peace at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista,125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Followed by an entombment at 3PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
Serving as pallbearers are Jose Rodolfo Garcia, Eloy Lugo Jr., Luis Alejandro Aguilar, Eric Ignacio Ibarra, Eloy Lugo Sr., Luis Aguilar Jr. and Noe Gonzalez.
