Rosalinda Guerra

She was a kindhearted person that enjoyed sewing, crocheting, watering plants, playing Chinese Checkers, and being surrounded by family. She was passionate about caring for others and did it with such grace.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose L. Guerra Jr.; parents Carlos and Antonia Gamez; brothers Carlos Gamez Jr., Evaristo Gamez, Ramon Gamez, Jesus Gamez, and Alberto Gamez; and sisters Maria Orta and Hermelinda Orta.

She is survived by her daughters, Raquel Chavez, Rebeca (Victor) Saldana, Dalia (Ian) Abete; her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother Roberto Gamez, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Rosalinda will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM in Chapel of Angels at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78521. A mass will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1200 Lincoln St, Brownsville, TX 78521. Followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 McDavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
