To our beloved mother, know that you have always meant everything to us your children and grandchildren, as well as friends and extended family you are dearly loved. You have built a strong bond amongst us and know, we are gonna be okay. Never forgotten. Love you, mom. Thank you for always being there and everything you sacrificed for us. Simply the best.

She is survived by her mother, Maria Teresa Ruiz; her brothers, Guadalupe Ruiz and Joel Ruiz; her daughters, Imelda Flores and Jessica Flores; her sons, Jose A. Flores and Jaime E. Escobar; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Severiano Ruiz, and her brother, Jaime Ruiz.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, located at 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526, on January 16, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
