

Sidronio Castro was a beloved husband of 53 years to Maria Castro. He moved his family to the United States in 1969. A proud family man he raised eight children while working as a welder for Chrysler Corp. He took great care of his family, his homes, automobiles and his appearance. He was kind and helpful to friends and neighbors. He loved animals and usually had a dog or other pet. After retiring to Texas, he lived quietly with his wife until his recent death. “He will be remembered lovingly.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Castro Castillo and Carlota Salas Castro; brothers, Mauricio Castro Salas and Estevan Castro Salas; sisters, Bellanira Castro Salas and Nicolasa Castro Perales.
Mr. Castro is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Maria Castro; brothers, Jose Castro Salas, Jesus Castro Salas, Ramiro Castro Salas, Francisco Castro Salas, Albertina Castro Salas, and Herminia Castro Robles; his children, Perla D. Nutt, Mauricio Castro, Norma Esthela Castro Campos, Lydia Castro-Jones, Laura Castro, Marie A. Castro, Carolina Castro, and Sidronio Castro, Jr; thirteen grand children and two great grand children.
Visitation will be held from 9 am to 9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm on Monday, August, 8, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A Mass will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Christ the King with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
