Sotero Castillo Jr.

Sotero (Soto) enjoyed playing guitar with friends, family, and local groups. He was always there to help others. He worked for A&V Lopez Supermarket for 11 years in Los Fresnos, Texas. He also worked for the Head Start Program in 1978. He played with his family group Los Hermanos Castillo from 1965 through 1980. He will dearly be missed.

Mr. Castillo is survived by his parents, Sotero Castillo and Petra Rivera Castillo; son, Jose Moreno; and his siblings, Ricardo Castillo, Armando Castillo, Javier Castillo, Jesus Castillo, Joe Castillo, and Norma Shaheen.

Visitation was held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, followed by committal service at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Santiago Castillo, Roy Castillo, Richard Castillo Jr., Jose Moreno, Geronimo Olivo, and Abraham Shaheen.
