Teresa Solis

Tere, as her family and friends knew her, was born on January 27, 1935 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Tere was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She shared her high spirits and love with everyone she came in contact with. She was greatly loved and will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herminio Solis, her son, Juan “Johnny” Solis and brother, Ramon Salinas.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Gloria Solis and Luisa Solis; 3 grandchildren, Christopher John Solis, John Christian Solis, and Luis Rolando Solis; 3 sisters, Maria Salinas vda. De Botello, Paula Salinas vda. De Zamorano, and Lupe Salinas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1pm to 9pm with a rosary service at 7pm on Sunday, November 20,2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.

Chapel Service will be held at 1pm on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
