

Yolanda was born in Matamoros, Mexico. She was the third oldest of five children. She met the love of her life Juan Casares in August 17, 1952 was married and moved to Brownsville, Texas. She mothered 12 children and was grandmother to multiple grandchildren.
Yolanda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, going to the pulga (flea markets) and yard sales. She also loved being a mother, caretaker of others, especially her husband, children and grandchildren. Yolanda was a fan of her novelas (soap operas) and Chuck Norris movies. She had a passion for flowers and plants and for her husband Juan.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Gertrudes Sosa Gonzalez; husband, Juan Casares Sr.; sons, Guadalupe (Lupe) Casares, Juan Casares Jr.; brother, Diego Gonzalez; grandchildren; Tina Casares, Bradley Dean Baisch Jr., and Lucy Quinn Vaira.
She is survived by her children, Juanita (Keith) Learn of Arizona, Leticia (Kevin) Olson of Montana, Sylvia Casares of Montana, Javier Casares of Texas, Alberto Casares of North Dakota, Reynaldo Casares of California, Rene Casares of Colorado, Reymundo Casares of Colorado, Diane (Paul) Hunke of Colorado, and Robert (Shannon) Casares of Montana ; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Maria Hernandez and Irene (Nena) Martinez; 2 brothers, Guadalupe Gonzalez and Jose Gonzalez.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 9pm with a holy rosary at 7pm on Thursday, February 09, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
Mass of resurrection will be held at 10am on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. All Funeral service will conclude after Mass.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jose Gonzalez, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Albert Casares, Reynaldo Casares, Rene Casares, and Robert Casares.
