Zulema Agado

In loving memory of Zulema Agado, a beloved aunt and motherly figure whose presence brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew her. Zulema devoted her life to caring for others, stepping into the role of a mother figure with unwavering love and strength. Her sacrifices and tireless efforts ensured the well-being and happiness of those she held dear, instilling in them values of resilience, compassion, and unity. Zulema leaves behind a legacy of love and sacrifice that will endure through generations.

Zulema was born and raised in El Rancho El Banquete municipio de Matamoros where she lived for about 40 years. After that she lived in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas for about 20 years where she was surrounded by family and enjoyed the numerous gatherings at her house on weekends and holidays.

Zulema also lived in Idaho for about three years where she was adored by numerous nieces and nephews and their beautiful families.

She then moved to Brownsville Texas in 1995 where she lived until her passing. She resided with her brother Francisco Agado and his wife Dalida. Zulema was embraced by an overflow of love as friends and family visited her. She greatly enjoyed tending to her plants in the warm south Texas sun.

She enjoyed attending mass at St. Eugene de Mazenod Catholic Church where she participated in prayer groups and community events.

Zulema will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her warmth, her compassion, and the love she shared so freely. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal love of those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her siblings Francisco H. Agado (Dalida) and Eva Agado de Abrego and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Zulema was preceded in death by her siblings: Elodia Agado †, Gilibaldo Agado †, Daniel Agado †, Natividad Agado †, Catarino Agado, Evangelina Agado † and Juanita Agado †.

Ms. Zulema also left behind numerous nieces, nephews and extended family to cherish her memory.

A visitation for Zulema will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7 pm in Chapel of Peace, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A Church Service will occur Friday, May 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM at St Eugene de Mazenod, 5409 Austin Rd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A Burial will occur Friday, May 17, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.

En cariñosa memoria de Zulema Agado, una querida tía y figura maternal cuya presencia trajo alegría y luz a las vidas de todos los que la conocieron. Zulema dedicó su vida a cuidar de los demás, asumiendo el papel de figura materna con inquebrantable amor y fortaleza. Sus sacrificios e incansables esfuerzos garantizaron el bienestar y la felicidad de sus seres queridos, inculcandoles valores de resiliencia, compasión y unidad. Zulema deja tras de sí un legado de amor y sacrificio que perdurará a través de las generaciones.

Zulema nació y creció en El Rancho El Banquete municipio de Matamoros donde vivió por cerca de 40 años. Después vivió en Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas por unos 20 años donde estuvo rodeada de su familia y disfrutaba de las numerosas reuniones en su casa los fines de semana y días festivos.

Zulema también vivió en Idaho durante unos tres años, donde fue adorada por numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos y sus hermosas familias.

En 1995 se trasladó a Brownsville, Texas, donde vivió hasta su fallecimiento. Vivió con su hermano Francisco Agado y su esposa Dalida. Zulema fue abrazada por un desbordamiento de amor cuando amigos y familiares la visitaron. Disfrutaba mucho cuidando sus plantas bajo el cálido sol del sur de Texas.

Disfrutaba asistiendo a misa en la Iglesia Católica de San Eugenio de Mazenod, donde participaba en grupos de oración y eventos comunitarios.

Le sobreviven sus hermanos Francisco H. Agado (Dalida) y Eva Agado de Abrego y numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos y familia extensa.

Zulema falleció luego de sus Hermanos y hermanas: Elodia Agado †, Gilibaldo Agado †, Daniel Agado †, Natividad Agado †, Catarino Agado, Evangelina Agado † y Juanita Agado †.

Zulema será profundamente extrañada, pero siempre recordada por su calidez, su compasión y el amor que compartía tan libremente. Que descanse en paz, rodeada del amor eterno de aquellos cuyas vidas tocó.

Una visitación para Zulema se realizará el Jueves, Mayo 16, 2024 desde las 12:00 pm hasta las 9:00 pm con un Rosario a las 7 pm en Capilla de Paz, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Una misa se llevará a cabo el Viernes, Mayo 17, 2024 a las 2:00 pm en St Eugene de Mazenod, 5409 Austin Rd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. Un sepelio se llevará a cabo el Viernes, Mayo 17, 2024 a las 3:00 pm en Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, TX.
