

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 31 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with Rev. Sam Cutrone officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 -7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Eleanor was born March 18, 1919 in Nanty Glo, PA. the daughter of Constantino and Teresa (Vesco) Mosso. She proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. A very patriotic woman, Elli co-coordinator the opening of the Veterans Outpatient Clinic in College Station where she volunteered nearly 9000 hours. She was awarded a plaque in her honor for her volunteer service from the local Disabled American Veterans. Elli along with many other veterans in our community was part of getting the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial build in honor of our veterans. She was a member of the American Legion Earl Graham Post 159, past-president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Honor Society of Women Legionnaires, and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 4692. Ellie was a long time member of Wesley United Methodist Church and participated in the prayer chain.
Elli is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Guy, John and Joseph Mosso, and a stepson, Will Edmonds.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, W. S. Edmonds of Bryan; stepdaughter, Michele Jackson and her husband Jimmy of College Station; sister, Violet Mosso of Nanty Glo, PA.; step-grandchildren, Keith Jackson and wife Sabina, and Gracie Jackson all of Bryan, Jennifer Thomas and husband Jeff of Euless; step-great-grandsons, Jackson and Jameson Thomas.
