Evelyn Jane Holubec Lenz

Evelyn Lenz , age 79 of Bryan passed away Sunday morning at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday February 17, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan, with the Reverend Monsignor John McCaffrey officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Evelyn enjoyed life to the fullest, always with a smile on her face. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and always there for her family. She especially enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gardening. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Tom Lenz; her brother, Albin Holubec; and her sisters, Hattie Kristynik and Victoria Stevener.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy & Joni Lenz of Bryan; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Gail Lenz , Alecia & Ronnie Arnold, and Debra & Dana Russell all of Bryan; five grandchildren, Don Lenz, Andrew Lenz, Dwayne Russell, Clif Arnold, Carrie McGovern and her husband Bubba; four great-grandchildren, Layten Arnold, Coltin Russell, Kyle McGovern, and Hillary McGovern.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
