AUX SOINS DE
Memorial Funeral Chapel
Faye Marie Grunst, born Fannie Marie Orlando on January 5, 1936, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 86 in Anna, Texas.
Faye was preceded in death by her loving parents, “Janie” and Sam Orlando of Navasota, Texas. She is survived by her 4 children: Samuel Johnson, Donnie Bullard, Lisa Johnson and Joshua Maxwell, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Faye was a feisty and charming Italian woman; known for her big blonde hair and giant pots of spaghetti with boiled eggs to share with family and friends! She was the life of the party and had never met a stranger. For so many, she was their second mom.
Faye was also an avid animal lover and passed that passion onto her children and grandchildren. Her favorite saying was “there are two things you don’t mess with, my kids and my animals!”
Faye was diagnosed with dementia at the age of 80 and we would like to thank her guardian Angel nurse, Patricia, for taking such great care of her the past 6 years.
A life well lived and we are grateful for all the moments, good and bad. We love and miss you Mom, until we meet again! Psalms 23
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
