George Quintero

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. Sunday with a 7:00 p.m. rosary service at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

George Quintero, was born in Port Arthur, TX October 11, 1967 and was a lifetime resident of Houston, TX. He was the sixth child of Mary and Leno Quintero.

He worked in a variety of jobs within construction and moving companies. He loved watching TV and being with his nieces and nephews. Although he never had children of his own he loved playing with his nieces and nephews and babysitting. He did not stop with just them; he has been a big part in the lives of his great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Leno V. Quintero and two infant siblings Rosemary and Thomas Quintero.

He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Quintero; two sisters, Cynthia Garcia and husband Andy of Bryan, Nicole Cruz and husband Gilbert of Katy; three brothers, Leonard Quintero of Cypress, Richard Quintero and wife Rosemary of Pasadena, Joe Quintero and wife Tina of Houston; three nephews, Christopher Quintero, Gabriel Garcia and Gilbert Cruz; eleven nieces, Sabrina Crump, Monica Quintero, Ciara Garcia, Amanda Shatkin, Angelica Garcia, Lauren Quintero, Yvonne Quintero, Ashley Herold, Mercedes Quintero, Andrea Garcia and Melissa Cruz.
