Guadalupe De Leon Rios

Guadalupe De Leon Rios, 90, formerly of Caldwell, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday May 17, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.

Guadalupe was born April 25, 1925 in Mercedes, Texas to Jesusita Gonzalez De Leon and Hilario De Leon. She was a homemaker, and she was a loving, caring, God fearing woman, who let her faith be known. She formerly attended New Heights Church, Bethel Temple, and BVFW Church. She was currently a member of The Promise Church in DeSoto, Texas and was loved by many. Guadalupe touched many lives with just her presence. Her family and friends will always be thankful for the legacy she left behind.

She was preceded in death by her husband Merced Rios; one son, Daniel Rios; and granddaughter Susana Perez Cobb.

She is survived by eight daughters, Ninfa Rios Roberts, Gloria Rios Perez and husband Raymond Perez, Estella Rios Ybarra and husband Esteban Ybarra, Olga Rios Morales and husband Juan Manuel Morales, Guadalupe Rios Gutierrez and husband Heraclio Gutierrez, Janie Rios Ramon and husband Ruben E Ramon, Sr., Lucy Rios Martinez and husband Nick Martinez, and Linda Rios Hernandez and husband Tony Hernandez; four sons, Rudy Rios and wife Mary Jane, Ramon Rios, Ray Rios and wife Annette, and Jessie Rios; thirty-three grandchildren, sixty-two great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
