

Jimmy, 32 years old, of Bryan, Tx, passed away on April 13th in College Station TX. He was born on 05/15/1993 in Mexico to Parents Jaime Velez and Angelina Martin. He grew up in Laredo, TX where he fell in love with watching and of course playing soccer.
Jimmy worked in the landscaping industry for most of his life and was known for his passion of delivering quality but always having fun at the job.
He will always be remembered by his passion for the sport with his brothers and friends. He found joy in spending time with his family but in particular with his nephews and nieces. His favorite pass-time was playing UNO with his family. Aguesterrr pelado esto es lo que Jimbo diria al escuchar esto.... y claro no puede faltar los tacuaches cuando pegaba la hambre.. si nooo...
He is survived by his mother Angelina Martin, his siblings Karina Gomez (Joseph Gomez), Evelyn Lemaire, Angelica Garcia (Rudy Garcia), Jay Velez (Linda Velez), Jose Velez, Erik Velez, and Linda Molina (Jose Molina) and his 9 nephews and 10 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father Jaime Velez.
The family will be receiving condolences on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapel , 1515 South College Ave Bryan TX 77801, where a prayer service will begin at 7:00 PM.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 9:30 AM at Iglesia Apostolica De La Fe En Cristo Jesus, 708 N Bryan Bryan TX 77803. with a 12:00 PM departure to Bryan City Cemetery to conduct a burial service.
