

Johnny was born to Henry Kizer Bomnskie and Minnie Luther Bomnskie on January 2, 1943 in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Bryan, Texas and graduated from SFA High School in 1961. In 1970, he went to work at Moore’s Business Forms and worked there until they closed in 1995. He then went to work with family at Central Electrical Supply for several years. Johnny also proudly served in the Army Reserve. Johnny was an outdoorsman. Whether he was hunting in Mason, Texas or fishing in Matagorda Bay, his happiest moments were enjoying nature with his family and friends. He is loved and will be missed by many.
Johnny was preceded in death by father, Henry Kizer Bomnskie and mother, Minnie Luther Bomnskie. He is survived by his daughter, Denise Bomnskie; son, James Bomnskie; daughter, Christine Batten and husband, Justin Batten; grandchildren, Jessica Robinson and husband Allen McBrewer, Sheri Tijerina and husband Ivan Tijerina, Jennifer Landon, Raygan Bomnskie, Chance Bomnskie, Justin Stinson, Kizer Bomnskie, and Caleb Lewis; Great Grandchildren, A.J. Ferguson, Ethan Tijerina, Alyssa Ferguson, Mackenzie Landon, and Audra Tijerina; sister, Carolyn Andrus Lucas; brother, Kenneth Bomnskie; sister, Linda Castoria Roedel and husband, Dave Roedel; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Celebration of Life for Johnny will be Saturday, December 30th from 1-2PM at the VFW Post 4692, in Bryan. Potluck lunch to follow.
