Loreda Marie Sanders, 92 of Bryan, passed away Thursday July 22 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Reverend Rusty P. Richard officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Robertson County.
Loreda was born November 13, 1917 in Jefferson Parrish, Louisiana to Ida Boudreaux and Ignace J. LeBlanc. She has lived in Bryan since 1974 and was a member of the Catholic Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Vernon C. Sanders; one daughter, Jacklyn Sanders, two brothers, I. J. LeBlanc, Jr. and Kaufman LeBlanc; and one sister, Elsie Fink.
Loreda is survived by two sons, V. Charles Sanders of Richmond, VA and Dee Raymond Sanders and his wife Cindy of Lake Jackson, TX; one daughter, Jo Ann Baley and her husband Michael of LaValle, WI; six grandchildren, Lori Sullivan of Bryan, TX, Dana Walters of Richmond, VA, Raymond Sanders, Justin Sanders, Katie Sanders, and Michael Baley; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
Memorials maybe made to a charity of choice.
