

Louise Munoz, 81, of Bryan, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday morning, April 15, 2010 at Christus Dubuis Hospital of Bryan. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 17 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church in Bryan with Msgr. John Malinowski officiating. Burial will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
Louise was born January 14, 1929 in Richland, Texas to José and Manuela Garcia Guillen, but grew up in Mexia, Texas. She has lived in Bryan since May 1955 when she married her husband Amador Munoz. Louise loved to take care of children, which she did for 35 years, and she loved to cook. She was well known for her Lemon Maringa Pies and Fudge Candy. She was a long time member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Joe Martin Munoz.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Amador Munoz of Bryan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Johnny Yeppez of Bryan and Bernadette and Stephen Bruck of Wellborn, Texas; one sister, Dora Guiterrez of Bryan; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
