The time for my departure is near, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Mitchell Keith, 79, of Bryan passed away Sunday, September 15 at Baylor Scott & White in College Station.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, September 19 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Robertson County. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 7:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mitchell was born August 15, 1940 in Bryan the son of Glenn and Lavaughn (Burt) Keith. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. Mitchell was a man of few words, strong courageous steadfast, hardworking and a perfectionist. He was a great provider, husband, father and a loyal friend and loved the Lord.
Mitchell loved fishing and hunting especially squirrel and trapping hogs.
Mitchell is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Lavaughn Keith; grandparents, Joseph and Mary Burt; and his wife, Ann Holidy Keith.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Alan Kopetsky; grandsons, Kash Kopetsky, Blake Kopetsky and fiancé Katelyn Jumper; brother, Earl Keith; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and John Parker, Sandra Whitener; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kay and Johnny Rizzo.
