Nancy Faye Carvin

Nancy Faye Carvin, 63, of Bryan, passed away Tuesday, March 13, at College Station Medical Center. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at Cross Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Cross Cemetery.

Nancy was born May 8, 1948 in Madison County to David and Ethel Rice. She enjoyed sewing and baking cakes for celebratory events. She also enjoyed watching her family play softball. She was a loving mother, grandmother and will be missed by many family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband Leal Frank Carvin.

Survivors include her son Christopher Zane Carvin of Bryan; granddaughters Savannah Michelle Carvin of Bryan, Brittany Marie Carvin of Caldwell; niece Marie Lawson-Arevalo of Bryan; brothers Jimmy and wife Barbara Rice of Cross, Richard Rice of Bryan, Emory and wife Dorothy of Brenham; sisters Nettie and husband John Mikeska of Bryan, Nita and husband Henry Taylor of Florida, Lisa and husband Johnny Timmons of Comanche; and numerous nieces and nephews.
