

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 24th, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 25th, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bryan. Interment will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park.
Pete was born November 8, 1931 in Caldwell, Texas the son of Rosa (Decharro) and Joe Montalbano, Sr. He served in the Army during the Korean War. After returning from the Army, Pete became a milkman, a career that he remained in until his retirement at the age of 69.
Pete was a devoted family man, and loved spending time with his family, taking them fishing and camping on the weekends. He also enjoyed gardening and was an active and very involved member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Council 1834 and the VFW, Post 4692.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Montalbano; three children, Kathy Drosche, Benny Montalbano, Tommy Montalbano and his wife Ana; seven grandchildren, Jason Labani, Michelle Dyess, Krisitie Montalbano, Stephanie Cash, Candice Montalbano, Lauren Montalbano, Jamie Montalbano; nine greatgrandchildren, Treson Dyess, Avery Dyess, Sydney Labani, McKenzie Labani, Madelyn Montalbano, Caitlyn Pack, Chloe Cash, Sophie Cash, Anthony Ocampo; and two sisters, Lucille Niemeyer and Mary Campise.
