Rosie Hudetts Brown

Graveside service will be Thursday December 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan officated by Reverend Bob Richers.

Rosie was born April 12, 1920 in Bryan the daughter of Steve and Lucy (Novack) Hudetts. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Bryan for 75 years. Rosie had a green thumb for gardening; she had beautiful flower beds and wonderful vegetable gardens. She loved playing 42 and bingo with friends.

Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, A.K. Brown; sisters, Olga Hudetts Burkhalter, Frances Hudetts Armstrong, Lucille Hudetts Lightsey, and Elva Jane Hudetts Lightsey; brother, Steve Hudetts; and a nephew, Morris Gene Burkhalter.

She is survived by her sister, Mickie Armstrong and husband Clyde Armstrong; nephew, Steven Burkhalter and wife Mary Beth; niece, Paula Burkhalter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
