A private family graveside was held at Bryan City Cemetery. In celebration of Ruby's life, the family will receive guests on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Ruby was born in White Hall, TX in the Lynn Grove communities to Ira and Wanda (Wehring) Nobles. She had one brother, Arvin Nobles (deceased). Growing up she worked hard, helping her Dad and Mom on the farm and her uncle’s dairy. She was raised to appreciate what little they had and to work hard to support each other. Ruby attended White Hall Elementary and Navasota High School. Ruby married Sigal Rosier May 1, 1953 at Lynn Grove UMC by Pastor Gene Craig. After she married, she supported her husband’s effort to make a life and to provide for their family. She was a woman of many trades, from clerking at the county tax office, selling Tupperware, or watching a handful of kids at her house, she was never still. She participated in Bryan Fire Department activities with her husband. She served as the state President for the Auxiliary Letter Carrier’s Association. She was also an active church member, never missing a church social, and always bringing a dish to share.
Ruby had a passion for traveling, she enjoyed riding with Sigal, the love of her life, all over Texas. She traveled to both oceans and more than 15 states. Her favorite place however, was anywhere her family was. She loved visiting family and making memories. She loved cooking meals for gatherings and providing any support that she could lend. She is a treasure that will be missed, and we can’t wait to see her again.
Preceded in death by parents Ira and Wanda (Wehring) Nobles; one brother, Arvin Nobles; and daughters, Nora E. Rosier and Carolyn C. Abegglen.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Sigal Rosier; son, David I. Rosier; son, George A. Rosier and wife Deborah; grandson, Chris Abegglen (Melanie); grandson, Joshua Bishop; grandson, Kevin Rosier (Jenna); granddaughter, Raegen Kubacak (Kris); granddaughter, Misty Blackwood (Jason). She is also survived by the sweetest great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Macie, and Braden Abegglen; David L. and Alexis Rosier; Kaleb, Katherine, Hannah, Taylor, and Hunter Kubacak; Olivia and soon-to-be Easton Blackwood; and a sister-in-law Ann Nobles.
Ruby made many friends, in their church and community. The family thanks you so much for the love you have shown them through the years, and we ask God’s blessing on you all. We love you.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Twin City Mission in Bryan, TX or Wesley UMC.
