Shirley E. (Haddox) Novak

Shirley E. (Haddox) Novak, 63, entered into rest on June 15, 2012 in Bryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 19th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Msgr. Rev. John McCaffrey as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 18th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan, with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.

Mrs. Novak was born August 17, 1948 in Bryan, the daughter of Quentin Lee and Minnie (Patrenella) Haddox. She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mrs. Novak was preceded in death by her father, a son, Morris Lee Novak and a sister, Euna Ann (Haddox) Berger.

Survivors include her husband, George Novak; mother, Minnie Ann Walker; sons George Novak, Jr. & his wife Lisa, Joseph Novak & Denise Morgan; granddaughter, Gabriella Novak; sister, Linda Cahill; and a brother, Lee Haddox. Also surviving is Kris Sommers, who Mrs. Novak loved as one of her own sons.
