Jess Gonzales

Jesus DeLaRosa Gonzalez, of Bullhead City, Arizona, passed away peacefully at the hospital on September 12th, 2025, surrounded by love. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on October 8th, 1963, and was raised in California, where he grew up with his many brothers and sisters.

As a child and young man, he often traveled with his father, who worked as a contractor for farmers. It was during those travels, while working in the fields in Nyssa, Oregon, that he met the women that would become his wife and mother to his 3 children. Together, they built a life and raised: Jesus I. Gonzalez Jr., Juan R. Gonzalez, and Laura A. Gonzalez.

Known to many by his nickname “Night Owl”, Jesus was a man of many talents—a true jack-of-all-trades. He especially loved tattooing and working as a car mechanic, always willing to lend a hand to family, friends, and neighbors. Music was one of his greatest joys, with Tejano and oldies always playing in the background of his life.

Jesus is preceded in death by his father Conrado, his mother Maria, and three siblings Conrado Jr, Rachel, and Janie. He is survived by his children, Jesus Jr., Juan, and Laura; and his beloved grandchildren: Jesus Angel III, Xochitl Delilah, Patricia Miracle, Jacoby Israel, Isaiah Reginald, Caleb Elijah, Emilio JJ, and Francisco Leobardo. He also leaves behind his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many extended family and friends who loved him dearly. His memory will also live on in the hearts of everyone who were blessed to know him.

Jesus will be remembered for his selflessness, his humor, his love for family, and the lessons he shared through the way he lived his life. He taught us resilience, strength, and the importance of family. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the memories, the music, and the lessons he gave us. His presence will be deeply missed, his love will continue to guide us every day; his legacy of love resilience, and strength will live on through his children and grandchildren.

A visitation for Jesus will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Dimond and Sons Silver Bell Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek rd, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.
