

Mario Louis Sottosanti, Sr., age 66, a 28-year resident of Mohave Valley, Ariz., died on Monday, June 27, 2011, in Bullhead City, Ariz. He was born on August 21, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mario worked for the Edgewater and Colorado Belle Hotel and Casino for 27-years as a Lead Engineer. He won "Employee of the Year" in 1999 and "Simply the Best" numerous times.
He loved to dress up as "Sottosanti Clause" and visit local elementary schools, nursing homes, etc. He won 1st place in the 2004 Searchlight, Nev., Christmas parade for "Best Float," along with 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place from 2006-2008 in the Needles, Calif., Christmas Parade for First Baptist Church. He loved to raise money for kids to help with Christmas presents. He enjoyed boating, the river, spending time with family, yard sales, crafts, smoking, crown royal, and his job.
Mario loved and adored his family. laughter was the highlight of his life.
He was a humanitarian and he would give his shirt off his back for anyone.
Mario is survived by his wife, Tamera Sottosanti of Mohave Valley, Ariz.; three daughters, Christy Buckley of Riverside, Calif., Gina Sottosanti of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Angela (Shane) Sloma of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; son, Mario (Rachel) Sottosanti, Jr., of Clarksville, Tenn.; two step-daugters, Laura (Ron) Babcock of Fullerton, Calif., and Nikkii Hiddlebaugh of Riverside, Calif.; two step-sons, Lonnie (Melissa) Miller of Orange, Calif., and Eric (Ashley) Hiddlebaugh of Bullhead City, Ariz.; five grandsons, Mario Sottosanti, III of Clarksville, Tenn., Travis Buckley, Cody Buckley, and Brandon Buckley all of Riverside, Calif., and Angelo Frias of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; three granddaughters, Adrianna Sloma and Isabella Sloma, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Giavana Frias of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; step-granddaughter, Juliet Babcock of Fullerton, Calif.; three sisters, Maryanne Sanchez and family, of Cudahy, Calif., Virginia (Anthony) Melchionne and family of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Rose Marie Weeks and family, of Buena Park, Calif.; and brother, Michael Victor Sottosanti and family of Stanton, Calif.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 6:00p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011, at Dimond and Sons Silver Bell Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek Rd, Bullhead City, Ariz. Pastor Hal Geant will officiate.
Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Colorado Belle Hotel and Casino at the Mardi Gras West A deck. In lieu of flowers, meals would be appreciated.
