Wilma "Billy" Mae Ross, Born December 5th, 1936, sadly and unexpectedly passed away on September 4th, 2024. She is received in Death by her First Husband Raymond A. Ross, Mother Wilma Massey, Father Harvey Massey, Siblings, and "Hunny" Dale Gallop, who had also recently passed after spending 30 years side by side throughout various adventures, shenanigans, tomfoolery, laughter, love, casinos, and peace. Billy, often characterized by her bold love for life, perfectly bee-hived brunette hair, and meticulously manicured style, will be missed by her beloved The Moose - Downey Lodge 663, where she was "the prettiest lady any of those men had ever seen", especially when she was working her magic behind the bar, by all of the lives she comforted during her years apart of various clubs, charities, and foundations, and by the Casinos along the Laughlin River where she spent much of her time regaling friends, waitresses, family, and strangers with some of the most tender tales, wise words, and raunchy jokes. Her other hobbies included her love for the Game of Golf, her always un-defeated (unless the other team cheated) Bowling league, and her Precious Los Angeles Rams. Wilma "Billy" Mae Ross is survived by her Son Brian Gallop & his spouse Laurie Gallop, Granddaughters Alexandria Gallop, Ashlee Baloun, & Jessica Espinoza and Grandson Michael Studds, Great Grandchildren Rawley Couch, Ashton Baloun, Amie Espinoza, and Sawyer Espinoza, as well as her Closest Confidants Tommy Studds, Nancy Young, and Nina Sears. All of whom she has been blessed to know and truly became her support system these last few years. For all these people, she loved, treasured, and will surely be remembered as the 8th wonder of the world, Mrs. Wilma "Billy" Mae Ross.
A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 16th, 2024. Please contact the family for forthcoming updates.
