Albert Joseph Reeves

Albert J. Reeves, 83, of Sylmar, CA. passed away on January 17, 2013 in Burbank, CA. He was born July 18, 1929 in Lebanon, NH; the son of the late Francis and Bertha (Laravee) Reeves. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia (Lopes) Reeves; loving father of Jason Reeves; brother of the late Lucille (Reeves) Rhodes and one surviving sister Irene (Reeves) Abreu of Frederick, MD. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews and extended family. Al Reeves was stationed at Fort Devens in MA and served in Italy during WWII. While living in CA for most of his life, Al worked construction for 30 years and retired as superintendant for Sheldon Pollack Co. in 1989. He enjoyed construction of all kinds and built his own home, several stone walled fireplaces, a chicken coop, a shed, a hothouse, and horse paddock. He loved to travel, was an avid gardener; loved sight-seeing and photography. He was a passionate numismatist. Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Lowell, MA.
