Diane Carol Barker

Diane Carol Barker was born on December 27, 1945, to John and Ann Balicki in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1951, the family moved to Atwater Village, California. She attended all of her schooling in that area. In October 1967, she married Monty Wayne Barker. In 1971, they bought a house in Tarzana, California. They lived together for the next 47 years until Monty's passing in March 2014. Diane loved all types of animals and for many years, she worked as a veterinarian assistant and secretarial work. Diane and Monty enjoyed camping and fishing trips, stargazing out in the desert and even had time for a few rounds of golf. Diane and Monty were inurned at Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood, California on August 14, 2024. She is resting next to her mom, Ann Baliki. Surviving relatives are Lee and Sandy Balicki, Fred and Sharon Barker, and nieces Susan and Wendy.

Dear all mighty God, we rejoice in your promise of love, joy and peace in your mercy, turn darkness of death into the dawn of a new life and the sorrow of parting into the joy of heaven through our Saviour Jesus Christ who died, rose again and lives for evermore, Amen!
