Kelly Siomara Martinez

Kelly Siomara Martinez passed away February 10, 2021 at the age of 43 after battling cancer for a second time. Kelly was born in Los Angeles, California to Carlos and Maria Martinez. She graduated from Holy Family High School in 1995 and went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Cal State University Northridge in 2001. Afterwards, Kelly attended Pepperdine University, and graduated with a Master’s Degree in 2009. She enjoyed a successful career as a therapist focusing her practice on working with children and teenagers.

Kelly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends any time she could. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and visiting the wineries with her beloved mother and close friends. During gatherings, Kelly enjoyed karaoke, dancing, and being in charge of “DJ” duties.

She will be remembered as a vibrant soul who will be deeply missed. She leaves behind her mother, sister, brother, a brother and sister in law, three nephews and a niece. Kelly also leaves behind her cherished group of supportive, and loving friends she considered family, along with everyone else that knew her.

Se graduó de Holy Family High School en 1995 y obtuvo una licenciatura en Psicología de Cal State University Northridge en el 2001. Posteriormente, Kelly asistió a la Universidad de Pepperdine y se graduó con una maestría en el 2009. Disfrutó de una exitosa carrera como terapeuta centrando su práctica en trabajar con niños y adolescentes.

Kelly disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos siempre que podía. Disfrutaba viajar, acampar y visitar las bodegas con su amada madre y amigos cercanos. Durante las reuniones, Kelly disfrutó del karaoke, el baile y estuvo a cargo de las tareas de "DJ".

Ella será recordada como un alma vibrante que será profundamente extrañada. Deja atrás a su madre, su hermana, su hermano, un cuñado y cuñada, tres sobrinos y una sobrina. Kelly también deja atrás a su querido grupo de amigas cariñosas y comprensivas que consideraba familia, junto con todos los demás que la conocían.
