Naomi Claire Cosgrove

Naomi Claire Cosgrove, age 83, of Woodland Hills, CA, passed away on October 8, 2023. She was born on September 1, 1940, in Hyde Park, MA. Naomi was a beloved partner to Steve Schaur, a caring sister to Helen Cosgrove, a mother to Natasha Cosgrove, and a grandmother to Anthony Cosgrove, John Zambrano, Isabella Zambrano, and Graciella Zambrano. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Patrick Cosgrove, her mother, Rose Shire Cosgrove, and her siblings, Joseph Cosgrove II, Rosemary Cosgrove, and Patricia Blainey (Cosgrove).

Naomi had a vivacious personality and a crazy sense of humor. She was known for her gentle nature towards animals and her love for Rock n Roll and Country Western music. She enjoyed watching movies and spending quality time with her loved ones. Naomi was a tough cookie but had a sweet side when she wanted to show it. She pushed people to their limits and tested the patience of those who loved her. Her grandchildren fondly called her Grandma Rambo, as they believed she would outlive them all. Naomi lived life on her own terms and had no regrets, regardless of the outcome.

In her free time, Naomi enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, playing card games, and spending time with friends. She found joy in these activities and cherished the moments shared with those around her.

A service to honor Naomi's life will be held at Valley Funeral Home, located at 2121 W. Burbank Blvd., Burbank, CA 91506.
