On August 10th, 2023, surrounded by the warmth of her family's embrace, Reina Luna peacefully concluded her valiant battle against cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and determination that will forever inspire those who knew and cherished her.
Reina is survived by her devoted husband, Jesus, and her two daughters, Jasmine and Jocelyn, who were the light of her life. She was a cherished sister, aunt, and friend to many, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
Born on November 16th, 1962, in San Salvador, El Salvador, Reina was a beacon of resilience. Her journey led her to Los Angeles in 1984, where she worked tirelessly to pave the way for her family's pursuit of the American Dream. With an unwavering spirit, she faced life's challenges head-on, her heart filled with compassion and her laughter contagious.
Reina's vivacious nature and golden heart illuminated every room she entered. Her strength of character and infectious sense of humor were testaments to her regal spirit. As a trailblazer and a warrior Queen, Reina's life was a true testament to her courage and determination.
Though her time with us was cut short, Reina's impact was profound. We invite you to join us in celebrating her remarkable life on Thursday, August 24th, at 4pm at Valley Funeral Home in Burbank, California. As we gather to honor her memory, we'll remember the laughter, the love, and the enduring legacy she leaves behind.
A burial gathering will take place on Friday, August 25th, at 11am at Valley Funeral Home, followed by a festive Burial Ceremony at Forest Lawn Glendale at 2pm. As we lay her to rest, we know that Reina's spirit will continue to shine bright in our hearts, guiding us with her unwavering strength and love.
In honoring Reina's memory and the diverse connections she made throughout her life, we kindly request that the celebration of her life remains focused on the love, joy, and cherished memories she shared with all of us. As we gather to remember her, we ask that the occasion be centered around the universal themes of compassion, unity, and the beautiful impact she had on each of our lives.
