Winnie was born in the small town of Castor, Alberta. She enjoyed an idyllic childhood with her three sisters on a thriving farm surrounded by the beauty of the prairie under the big sky. After coming to Vancouver, Winnie married her beloved Fred, and devoted her time to looking after their young family. She later became a successful, respected real estate agent. She loved working to secure the best deal for her clients and her clients loved her in return.
Winnie was energetic, practical, competent and wise. But most of all, she was a free spirit. It will be a sadder world without her mischievous looks and unexpected antics.
