It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, nonna, sister and aunt. Amina is predeceased by her husband Pietro. She is survived by her daughter Maria (Peter Katsionis) and her son Domenico (Catherine). She will be fondly remembered by her 5 grandsons, Vincenzo, Matthew (Cristina Katsionis), Romen, David and Marino and her two brothers, Giovanni and Aldo and their families. Amina was a kind and gentle woman and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. We are truly blessed to have had such a wonderful person in our lives. A special thank you to the entire staff of Villa Carital who took exceptional care of her and were so considerate of her and her family her last few days. Visitation will be held from 2-3 pm on Tuesday, July 30 at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 31 at Our Lady of Sorrows, 555 Slocan Street, Vancouver. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, do-nations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
