August 31, 1967 – May 15, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Ciccone, who passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2025, surrounded by her devoted husband and their two beloved sons. She was 57 years old and a cherished resident of Coquitlam, British Columbia.
Born on August 31, 1967, in Cosenza, Calabria, Italy, she immigrated to Vancouver with her family when she was a baby. She grew up in East Vancouver, where she developed lifelong friendships and values that shaped the warm, generous, and nurturing woman she became.
Angela was the beloved daughter of Carmela and her late father, Ernesto Cabrone, and the devoted wife of Salvatore Ciccone - her high school sweetheart and partner in life for over 34 years. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two wonderful sons, Brando and Cristiano, who were her pride and joy.
She is survived by her loving siblings, Adam (Lori), Rosaria (Bill), Frank, and Roberto (Elvi). She is also lovingly remembered by her extended family through marriage, including her mother-in-law, Palma, her sister-in-law, Sarah (Rocco), and her brothers-in-law, Anthony (Ivana) and Robert (Christina). She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, each of whom she adored. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Vittorio.
Family was at the center of everything Angela did. She had an intuitive, nurturing nature and a gift for sensing when someone needed support — and offering it without hesitation. Her kindness, generosity, and quiet strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a special love for her French Bulldog, Stogie, who was her loyal companion until his passing.
Angela had a remarkable way of making people feel welcome, cared for, and included. Her warmth, thoughtfulness, and infectious smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She formed meaningful connections with people from all walks of life — offering support, checking in during difficult times, and making everyone feel like part of the family. Her home was a place where friends felt like family and where kindness was always present. Many knew her as a second mother, someone who gave freely of her time, love, and attention. The countless stories shared by those whose lives she touched are a true reflection of the compassionate and generous person she was.
Her love, strength, and care for others will live on in all who knew her. Her presence was a gift. Her memory is a blessing.
We will miss you every day. Thank you for always knowing what we needed — and giving so much of yourself to everyone around you.
