Born in Tarnoszyn, Poland, Anna immigrated to Canada in 1972 with her beloved husband Jozef and their four children, beginning a new chapter marked by courage, hard work, and deep devotion to family. She spent most of her life in Vancouver, later settling in Port Coquitlam, where she continued to create a warm and welcoming home for all who knew her.
Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Jozef Wolczyk, her oldest daughter Grazyna, and her cherished grandson Jordan Wolczyk.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Robert, Joe, Chris (Nadia), and Barbara (Frank); her grandchildren Monica, Amy, Christine, Izabela, Filip, Brandon, Brittni, Madison, Teile, and Cole; and her great-grandchildren Aiden, Dalibor, Giorgia, Alessio, Levi, and Roots.
Fondly known as Babcia, Anna was deeply proud of her Polish heritage, which she carried with her throughout her life and lovingly passed on to future generations. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
A woman of strong Catholic faith, Anna lived her life with quiet devotion and grace. She was hardworking, selfless, and generous with her time, always placing the needs of others before her own. Known for her kind and soft-spoken nature, she expressed her love through the things she made — beautifully knitted pieces, carefully sewn creations, and lovingly baked treats that brought comfort and joy to her family.
Anna’s legacy is one of love, faith, and unwavering dedication to family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
