Anny Julia Ju Lim

Burnaby -- Anny Julia Ju Lim, passed away peacefully on April 14th, 2022, after a short illness. She is predeceased by her loving husband Petrus Halim, and her beloved sons Marcus Lim and Jau (Joe) Tong Christopher Lim. Lovingly survived by her sons Paulos Halim (Cindy Ng), Halim (Joseph) Sanjaya, and her daughters Helina Lim (Lukas Wong), Esther Suryna (Sandy Hakim), Sandra Lee (Tim), and Diana Brown (Jeff).

The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28th, 2022, at Ocean View Funeral Chapel, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC V5J 1A4. Following the service there will be the entombment and then a gathering with food and drink. Mom was born in Tebing Tinggi, Indonesia, on June 29th, 1925, and was a great blessing in our lives. We have fond memories of her tirelessly preparing Indonesian and Chinese food for her friends, church group and family. She loved to crochet and was the oldest of nine siblings that she helped care for. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We are comforted knowing that she is at peace with the Lord and reunited with her two sons and husband. Thank you for being our Mom, and may God grant you the great peace that you have earned.
