Antima Wedenig

Born on March 14, 1936, in Cugnoli, Provincia di Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy, Antima was the fifth of seven children of Anna and Morfino Mucci. Her family immigrated to Canada in 1948, where she built a life centered on family, hard work, and community.

A devoted Catholic, Antima’s faith was a guiding force in her life. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and gracious hostess whose warmth, perseverance, and generosity touched all who crossed her path.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Herman; her children, Rosana and Richard; her daughter-in-law, Rosa; and her granddaughter, Sophia.

The family gratefully acknowledges the doctors, nurses, and staff at Royal Columbian Hospital for their compassionate care and support.

A private family service will be held. In keeping with her faith, prayers will be offered in her memory.

Antima will forever be in our hearts -- deeply missed and forever loved.
